The ALARM is the same as last year: by 2050, we may have 30% less polar bears. The main cause is climate change, which mankind has contributed in any grand imposing way in the last few decades. The emergency is not at all indented, reminded by the Wwf on the occasion of the International polar bear day, which is celebrated on the 27th of February: "The reduction will take place in a matter of a few years, if the melting of polar ice caps caused by global warming will continue at this pace".
The king of the Arctic, explains the environmentalist association that the North Pole carries forward the conservation project of the "Last ice area", is "already classified among the vulnerable species in the red list of the international Union for the conservation of nature (Iucn) and climate change caused by human activities are making more and more fragile, its habitat and survival. Polar bears need the sea ice to be able to move and go in search of food".
