Not good enough: Martin miss x-factor

The tenth season of ’X Factor’ trills over the screens for the time, and still be more or less untalented amateurs ridiculed in the hunt to become the new Adele, Tom Jones or Rihanna.

They are probably rather the new Linda Andrews, Thomas Ring or Ida Madsen. If anyone can remember them.

Martin Hedegaard, who triumphed in the first edition of ’the X Factor’ in 2008, is still the only winner who has scored a career out of helping in the suspect program. And midtjyden doing everything to erase his past.

He reappeared in the autumn of 2015 under the name Saveus, there ago have had nice success with a few singles and sold-out klubkoncerter.

Now published Hedegaard's first ep, ’Will Somebody Save Us’, which contains two already known tracks and three new, as well as a remix of debutsangen ’Levitate Me’.

The best one can say about the Saveus is that the project rises far above the ’X Factor’-level, but out in the real world is the 24-year-old sangskrivers electronic soul on a more mediocre level in the poem.

Hedegaard has gotten more sophisticated taste, since he loomed as Ørums own Justin Timberlake, but he sounds still not as himself.

There are clear traces of James Blake and Bon Iver at the slowdown opening number ’Good Times’, while the dynamic of ’How the Did In the’ could have been a hit with It.

the Tone is both ambitious and pretentious, but Hedegaard is without the essential format of the numbers that moves in several directions and often appear overly pent up, despite the fervent singer's fundamental musicianship and competent execution of the material.
