The Catalan Maribel Lopez will co-lead with Carlos Urroz the next edition of Arco, feria in which it was working as a commercial director and programme commissioners since 2011. The intention of Lopez, an art historian from the University of Barcelona, is to delve into a trend that has worked in the past editions: to maintain the number of participating galleries between the 200 and 210 and to limit the number of artists in each space. "It has been shown that it is better to delve into the work of one or two artists, that the public reacts better.
