It confirmed her team for several international media. But now, just days before the live broadcast, says the organisation, the European broadcasting union that there is not yet a signed contract.

At a press conference on Monday night said the EBU's Eurovisionchef Jon Ola Sand that it is still unclear if she will perform:

"It is true that we, the EBU, never has confirmed Madonna as the performer in the Eurovision song contest, for the simple reason that we do not have a contract with her team," said Jon Ola Sand.

negotiations right now.

" We are in the final stages of it, but if there is no signed contract this week she will not be on stage. It is so simple.

Sand describes the situation as ”a bit strange”, and says that Madonna's requirements on the security arrangements are part of the problems in the negotiations.

" We have an artist that would like to be a part of the Eurovision song contest. We would love to welcome her on the stage. But for that to be possible we must have a framework for security.

According to the israeli media to Madonna arrive to Tel Aviv on Wednesday.
