'Due to personal reasons I must - Louise Sander Henriksen, unfortunately, leave me the title of Miss Denmark to 2018, and therefore will represent Denmark in Miss World 2018 in China', reads the official explanation from the original winner of the title, which was awarded on Wednesday, 12. september in the circus building in Copenhagen.

It appears of Facebook-spread that the 20-year-old pædagogstuderende will not be able to fulfill the contractual obligations, as follows, with the title of Miss Denmark to 2018.

Some of it, as she would not be able to live up to, was that she should represent Denmark at the international Miss World competition held later this year in China.

The new Miss Denmark is Tara Jensen, who was originally number two in the competition. She is, according to the press release is keen to defend the new title at the big competition in China.

'Tara is a true fighter, I have full confidence in! This property comes to her benefit, when she will compete against 130 other national winners to Miss World 2018. I am glad that it all finally fallen into place, and we are now in full swing with preparations for the Miss World 2018', writes Lisa Lents.

Ekstra Bladet has tried to get a comment from Lisa Lents and Louise Sander Henriksen, but they do not want to comment further on the matter.
