Konsertrecension: The Lemonheads is actually the best cover band

Everything seemed so easy for Evan Dando. He had sunshine in the eyes, razor sharp cheekbones and looked like Kurt Cobain's more cleaned up little brother. As a singer, songwriter and only constant member of The Lemonheads, he wrote easily naive and unconcerned powerpoplåtar and sang them with a voice that was so soft and pleasant that it felt very barefoot and hippie despite the fact that the Dandos roots undoubtedly was tougher than that.

From the late 80s to mid-90s, released Bostonbandet seven albums, one slightly better than the other.

Dando disbanded the band and seemed the most float around, lost 90-talsikon on the other side of the turn of the millennium. At the middle of the 00's revived The Lemonheads, but the old-time high level of production was a thing of the past. During the 2000s, there have only been three albums, the last two have been pure coveralbum.

It could be seen as a sign of creative block – if it were not for that covers always been close at hand for The Lemonheads.
