He drives like a two-pronged approach

A wave, the Reto Europe was the first theatre. But the second graders, the stupid and hooked found the acting – until he saw in the upper stage in the city theater of Bern "Romeo and Juliet". "I was so impressed with the staging that I looked at me, then two more times," says Stalder at the Meeting in the lower village.

The piece was ultimately also the reason why he discovered a theatre course enrolled, and so his interest in acting. Today, Reto Europe know angular face, all that zapping regularly through the SRF program, or in a magazine.

As Fabio Testi, the right Hand of the "undertaker" Luc Conrad (played by Mike Müller), was Stalder known. After seven seasons, the last one is just broadcast, talk to him, Strangers on the train, and fellow actors call him Fabio instead of Reto.

But fear, that he will keep forever this name, the 32-year-old Berner. "It's going to take a Moment here until I am no longer addressed to the dark small extension or Fabio's favorite food," says Stalder and laughs. He does it often, also about yourself. For example, if he is asked why he is still described as a young actor: "I don't understand also, finally, I now have gray hair."

he is quick-witted and humorous, also confirms the actress and "undertaker"-colleague, Barbara Terpoorten. She describes Stalder also as a very mindful and carefully in dealing with his colleagues. Last fall, was filmed in the SRF series. Now Stalder is in the piece "Welcome to" on stage at the Theater at pike place. This was just a coincidence, says the artist: "I like the set as well as the stage. But in the past I had projects, often due to the "undertaker"-rotating to cancel work. But now I have more time for something New."

the Bernese in front of the camera as well as on the stage convinced, Andrea Zogg. He performs at the "Welcome" directed by and had Stalder longer for a collaboration on the Radar. "He is beyond the common actor patterns, and has something of its Own," says Zogg. He had a kind of mystery that is not evident at first glance.

And Zogg is right: Reto Stalder fit into any pattern. To work because he decided a few years ago, again as a designer. "So I have a structure, and not every commercial film must make in order to pay my rent," says Stalder.

Although he has already discovered as a Teenager, his love of the theatre – the school he graduated from, but once a doctrine, "because it was the degree of gäbig," says Stalder.
