Got paid in 14 years without work: A telephone revealed it all

Imagine that you each month in 14 years will get a monthly salary into your bank account without having stirred a finger. It sounds like a robber story, but it actually happened in reality in the Swedish municipality Falu in the region of Dalarna.

Here was discovered recently by the case, to a man, which none of his colleagues had ever heard of had been paid by the municipality in 14 years.

It is the local tv-station SVT Dalarna, which has revealed that the incredible story was discovered when employees at the municipality had to have new mobile phones in connection with their work.

The unusual fraud was discovered after the summer 2018 when the staff at one of the municipal units in Falu municipality should have the new arbejdstelefoner.

Enhedschefen and his son is now suspected of having cheated the municipality for a total amount of 4.2 million Swedish kronor.
