Now it's been 100 percent confirmed, that there will be a sequel of the movie 'Dirty Dancing' from 1987, that had Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey in the lead roles as the romantic couple Johnny and Baby, who found love on the dance floor.
the Film must be made by the film company Lionsgate, and director Jon Feltheimer confirmed on Thursday the news, which he described as one of the 'worst kept secrets' in Hollywood.

'It will be exactly the kind of romantic and nostalgic film, as fans of 'Dirty Dancing' has been waiting for. It will have all of it, as also did the 'Dirty Dancing' to the best-selling films in our company's history, tells Jon Feltheimer.
In the 'Dirty Dancing' from 1987 played the Patrick Swayze role as dance instructor Johnny Castle, and Jennifer Grey played the role of Frances 'Baby' Houseman, who was on holiday at the place where Johnny taught dance. Here they meet of course at the dance, and sweet music arises.
It is not indicated whether the film will once again focus on the young couple Johnny and Baby. But Jennifer Grey, who played Baby in the original film, is executive producer on the film.
Patrick Swayze died of cancer in 2009.
'Dirty Dancing' from 1987 won also an Oscar award for the song '(I've had)The Time of My Life'. Both Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey was also nominated for a Golden Globe for their roles in the film.
