America's recently deceased Ex-President George H. W. Bush sponsored for ten years, a Filipino child and wrote to him secretly letters. He used the Pseudonym G. Walker. The Christian organization Compassion International, the Bush and the boy named Timothy brought together, has now published posthumously, some of the letters of the Ex-President.

In his first Bush wrote, "Dear Timothy, I want to be your new penpal. I am an old man, 77 years old. But I love children. And although we don't know you, I love you already. I live in Texas I'm going back and re-write. Good Luck. G. Walker"
The Pseudonym was a condition of Bush's security personnel and the President of the Christian organization had to deal with every letter. Bush did it to him, however, is not easy, because the Ex-President revealed to Timothy the information close to his Person close. So he sent Timothy a photo of his dog Sadie, and wrote: "she met many famous people." He mentioned, moreover, that he was so famous that he had been invited to Christmas in the White house.
Timothy learned only at the age of 17 years, who his Sponsor was. He was completely surprised, and said, of a life-changing discovery. Later, the contact to Compassion international. The former President of the organization says: "We know where Timothy is. But he lead a successful life."
