Fredagsbrag: Came to gratiskoncert with Phlake and secret guest

At 20 Friday, blinding her.dk once again up for a hell of a fredagskoncert, when the Danish succesduo Phlake playing live from the Planetarium in Copenhagen.

the Concert can be seen absolutely free of charge-on Extra the Magazine's website as a plaster on the wound for all those who miss the concerts and other cultural events here in coronatiden.

Previously, among others, Mads Langer, and Scarlet Pleasure the intake stage, and this Friday we have music with Mads Bo Iversen and Jonathan Elkær, better known as Phlake.

- We welcome whole game, but we have not tried anything like this before. - It has been a little special. We were just finished with our album, and had been in the studio pretty much right up to the closure, so on the way, it was really very nice to draw a little and breathe out, says lead singer Mads Bo Iversen.

Phlake should really have appeared for the Extra Magazine's readers 17. april, but had to be canceled due to illness.

- It was a from the band, which had some symptoms that did, that it was not justifiable to conduct the event. Fortunately it turned out that he had not the corona, but we felt that we were going to have to go with both belt and braces, says Jonathan Elkær.

They had planned to play concert from a barbershop, both of which are clipped, in order to focus on some of the other professions which suffer from coronakrisen.

Now they play instead from the Planetarium in Copenhagen, where they will perform with their five-man band and will also get a visit from a secret guest, as the first will be revealed at the concert, they tell.

- It fits well into the whole coronatematikken to appear here. They have closed and may only open for some time, then they also have soft in this here time. On the way, we help a little to each other, and will focus on the culture. It is the one cultural institution that helps the other, saying Jonathan Elkær.

The secret guest is, however, not the only surprise, Phlake have up your sleeve.

Thursday could Ekstra Bladet can reveal that the singer 'Mercedes of the Virus', which since 2018 has participated in several of the Phlakes releases, in fact, was the lead singer Mads Bo Iversen itself.

And even though the mystery of kvindestemmen on the band's many releases now is revealed, they will not deny the fact that the 'Mercedes of the Virus' is going to appear on their releases again.

- We always have creatively moved us forward from album to album and allowed ourselves to advance the track. We can not exclude the possibility that there will be a feature with the Mercedes on the next album, but I will say that we have found a cure to this virus, says Jonathan Elkær.
