Danish sports club cheated with tax dollars: the Money is gone

The copenhagen basketballklub Stevnsgade Basketball in Nørrebro has abused foreningsmidler from the city of Copenhagen.

According to the new report from the Internal Audit of the club overall, has constructed false documents, which have covered up abuse for a total of 257.144 crowns.

According to the report, Stevnsgade received a total 642.000 crowns from the Municipality of Copenhagen, as the club can't account for.

Here represents two thirds of the amount of project funds that cannot be documented properly spent in the financial statements. The last third is the payment of too many støttekroner for members under the age of 25 years.

From 2015 to 2018 has Stevnsgade Basketball received a total of 838.190 dollars in aid from the municipality for development projects.
