There waiting for a really wet and windy weekend, which can fall up to ten millimetres of rain both Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
this is the message from the duty meteorologist at the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) Klaus Larsen.
- It will be something really classic boring Danish summer weather, says Klaus Larsen.
the Reason is a low pressure from the west over the weekend sends the unstable weather over Denmark.
Friday begins with little or no sunshine over most of the country and daytime temperatures between 17-19 degrees. In the course of the afternoon expected rain and wind spreading from the west across the country. On the coasts, it can mean strong winds and gales.
It will be warmest in southwest zealand, where the temperature can sneak up on 20 degrees.
- We expect the most rain in the northern part of Jutland, but it looks to be rather wet in most places, says Klaus Larsen, and adds:
Friday will be probably the nicest day.
Saturday, is continuing unstable weather with plenty of rainfall, and the smooth to the rough wind in large parts of Denmark. On Bornholm it can keep a little more dry.
- There may come some short stay in the weather, but it is generally a really boring day to be out in, unless you are into sleet and rain, says Klaus Larsen.
More of the same awaits on Sunday, until it begins to clear up from the northwest.
Here, particularly northern Jutland, maybe get a little sun during the afternoon.
- But it can be followed by both rain and thunder, says Klaus Larsen.
Temperatures Sunday are expected to be between 16-21 degrees. Warmest it gets in the southeastern part of the country.
As it looks now, can the volatile summer weather will continue into the middle of next week, according to DMI. It is expected both the rain and wind to subside, while the temperature in turn falls a bit.
