45 years late: the Icon's big downturn

Neil Young put virtually not a plectrum wrong in the 1970s. ’Heart of Gold’ was his big hit, but about everything he touched, turned into gold.

45 years later airs ’Homegrown’ at last, and the hopeless romantic sounds quite crushed on the plate beautifully resigned opening number, ’Separate Ways’, while hjertesorgerne has been to the bitterness on the tremulous ’Vacancy’.

Young crying, however, not only the snot of Snodgress.

’Love is a Rose’ is a different released love song with the straw hat, and he goes from straw, hemp on the album's title song, there is a overfunky tribute to pot.

Seven of the 12 intersections have never been out before in any form. A gem such as ’White Line’ sparkles, however, audible in relation to its frayed grandeur on the ’Ragged Glory’ in 1990.

Legendary guests such as Levon Helm, Emmylou Harris and Robbie Robertson makes it awesome, but the ’Homegrown’ is unmistakably cultivated by the main character and hurt the sensitive and magnificently haggard in his spirit.

Young's golden decade has just become even better.
