The Malena Lizard is out on the loose! Around 200 people gave life to the parade that the Lizard has taken to the historic centre of the capital. It has toured from the stream of La Magdalena up to the Plaza de San Ildefonso in an attempt to relive its history. This is the highlight of the commemorative activities for the Official Day of the Magdalena Lizard.

It was a fun activity where a large lizard, peasant figures, and others representing Jaen residents were frightened of the great reptile. They honored one of the emblems.
