The closet is outside the big city

The aim is to broaden the view of LGTBIQ people beyond the big cities. "Queens To the Rescue" is a new format of Atresplayer Premium. It opens tomorrow, just one day after the celebrations of the Pride in Madrid. According to its creators, the program was created out of "calls to help" from people who wanted to live their gender identity or sexual orientation with "absolute liberty" in rural settings and small towns where "what will they speak" is a common theme. Six stories with six stories will be delivered to the platform each month. This will reveal another side of the group who has struggled to come out of their shell.

The drag queens Pupi poisson, Sharonne, and Estrella Xtravaganza will travel throughout Spain, accompanied by Supremme De Luxe, to highlight various LGTBIQ stories. They will fly to Roda de Bera (Tarragona), to meet Hugo, who was a trans boy who confessed to his identity to his father. This chapter is the beginning. He will be able to regain his self-confidence, close the wound with his father, and serve as an example to Lucia, his trans friend. Lucia has also suffered from aggression and sees Hugo as the mirror that allows her to look in the mirror.

It has been very thrilling. It was a mental adventure. I've heard many stories and experienced all sorts of realities. I've also been in situations I didn't know existed. I'm from the city. It's more than the question of "what will they say?". It can also have a negative impact on your daily life. She also said that many of the Queens to the Rescue' protagonists cannot leave their home for financial reasons. Carmen Ferreiro, director of entertainment programming at Atresmedia Television says the new format for the communication group "claims equality dialogue and understanding". The drags will be arriving in towns after the call for help. The chapters will be completed on stage with a demonstration party for the entire region. They will arrive accompanied only by the 'queens.
