Chip & Joanna Gaines celebrated their Magnolia Network launch over the weekend in New York City with an elaborate dinner.
Last week, former HGTV stars visited New York City to promote their new lifestyle network. The TV venture was launched shortly after they left their popular home renovation series "Fixer Upper", which reached its peak in Season 5.
They celebrated the weekend's end at The Polo Bar – A Ralph Lauren Restaurant, Manhattan. On Sunday, they shared a photo showing themselves in nice clothes while enjoying a plate of burger sliders and fries. Joanna is seen laughing as Chip holds a slider up to the camera, smirking, and Joanna is holding a second slider in one hand.
After a fantastic week of @magnolianetwork, there's no one I'd rather share a whole platter of sliders than with. We are grateful for everyone's support this week. Joanna captioned Joanna's Instagram post.
After two and a quarter years of development, the star thanked her "amazingly talented and creative team" for helping to get the network up and running.
She added, "To all the storytellers in this network--Thanks for trusting us with your stories to the world. It is an absolute honour," We can't wait to show you what we've been up to over the past two years.
Her post concluded by mentioning the new release method the network, which is partnered to Discovery's streaming platform, will use going forward. Magnolia network will continue to offer new episodes every week, with new shows every month.
Joanna wrote an Instagram Post that the network was a place full "inspiring stories" by "risk takers," "creators", course changers and dreamers.
The "risk-takers" include the well-known duo, who return to their roots in the spinoff series "Fixer Upper : Welcome Home."
