Palace of Carlos V

Victor Pablo Perez conducts the Galician Symphony Youth Orchestra. This program features young musicians performing film music. It is presented to honor John Williams (Floral Park New York, 1932), one the most important Hollywood composers over the past six decades. The Festival is a sincere tribute to him. It includes a stroll through his most famous cinematic scores (from Jaws and Harry Potter, through Schindler's List to Jurassic Park, Star Wars, and so on), as well as pieces like those written for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Salvador Vidal from Valencia, a respected dubbing actor, participates in the show, presenting each theme using phrases from the film. Jordi COS, president of Valles Symphony Orchestra, wrote the original script. Palace of Carlos V, 10:30 pm.

The Prickly Pear

Juan Rafael Cortes 'Duquende, a Catalan singer, is the beautiful extension of the shrimp school. He was a cult artist and one of Paco de Lucia's favorite voices. They toured the globe together. Compas knows nothing about Duquende. He plays at will with the duendes rhythm, creating truly magical moments. Carlos de Jacoba, Motril's guitarist, will be next to him. He has proven for many years that, despite being young, he is a great player of the guitar. He is a proverbial creator and a guitarist with long registers. He stands out as both an accompanist (alongside figures like David de Jacoba, Israel Fernandez, or Guadiana) as well as as a soloist. This aspect he often embellishes with the honeys from his own singing. These are two essential pieces that will delight anyone who has the chance to hear his flamenco music. La Chumbera Municipal Auditorium, 9:00 p.m.

Patio de los Marmoles, 9:30 p.m.

Solidarity Concert featuring Alexis Morales (trumpet) and Calio Alonso (piano). Costa Rica and Spain are two musicians that are connected by an ocean of distant, but yet shared shores. They offer a journey through beautiful sound postcards by outstanding composers from countries surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. This program features works by Marvin Camacho and Isaac Albeniz, Manuel de Falla as well as Paco Perez, Felipe de Jesus Ortega and Rafael Mendez. Patio de los Marmoles, 9:30 p.m.

Solidarity concert for PYMEAS (Small and Medium Entities of/with Social Action of Granada) is an alliance of entities that helped to create the Puerta Unica Granada Consortium, which attends to the most disadvantaged in a coordinated way. It currently includes: ALFA and Calor y Cafe and Nueva Cartuja Associations; Neighborhood Associations Caseria de Montijo and Parque Nueva Granada; Rey Badis; Caritas and Nuestra Senora de las Mercedes Parish; Regina Mundi Soup Kitchen; and Hospitaller Order of San Juan de Dios.

At 9:00 pm, the Church of the Annunciation, Gobernador will host a performance of the Montana Guitar Quartet (Toni Jimenez and Arturo Bermudez), Andres Galan and Hector Castaneda), in a program called Contemporary Popular Landscapes. The Quartet is a specialist in composers from 20th-century to present. They also have a repertoire that includes popular folk sounds, nuances, and space for improvisation and theatricality. This program, which features works by Leo Brouwer and Maximo Diego Pujol as well as Sergio Assad, Flores Chaviano and Roland Dyens is sponsored by Red Electrica de Espana. The Montana Guitar Quartet was created as an academic project at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Granada, Victoria Eugenia.

Bubion Church Square

At 9:30 p.m. there will be a flamenco show at Plaza de la Iglesia de Bubion. Miguel Angel Rodriguez and Rocio Montoya will create images of great flamenco figures such as Antonio The dancer> and Rosario. Participation of Sergio Gomez "El Colorao" and Pablo Fernandez on guitar.
