Chrissy Teigen backs from Netflix's'Never Have I Ever' voice role Following cyberbullying scandal

Chrissy Teigen has dropped from a function for Netflix's"Never Have I Ever" weeks after she had been called out by Courtney Stodden for previous cyberbullying.

A spokesperson for the show tells Fox News Teigen has stepped away from a guest voiceover role. She had been set to appear in one episode of Season 2 of those Netflix coming-of-age comedy-drama, made by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher.

The role is currently predicted to be recast, '' the spokesperson said.

"Never Have I Ever" follows an Indian-American adolescent who deals with high school pressures.

Teigen's departure from the show comes following a period of silence for the former Swimsuit Illustrated model. Known for her engaging existence on social networking, Teigen was unusually silent lately because Stodden accused her of cyberbullying.

Most notably, the star, 35, supposedly invited the singer to commit suicide and suggested Lindsay Lohan physically harm herself out of jealousy. The ordeal has resulted in a great deal of backlash for its once-beloved celebrity, which many believe ironic given her propensity to slam others for problematic behaviors.

Her latest Twitter post came on May 12 when she publicly apologized to Stodden, 26, calling herself"blessed" to have been held accountable. She admitted to being"mortified" by her previous behaviour and promised that she will"eternally function on being better"

Stodden didn't find Teigen's remarks to be horribly authentic, stating the apology felt like"a public attempt to save her partnerships" with a variety of brands.

Teigen's Instagram has gone dim, with her final article coming May 11, only a day before apologizing to Stodden on Twitter.

From the article, Teigen shared a webpage from her cookbook featuring a"snug classic crimson lentil soup" recipe. She announced in the caption that she would be making the dish reside that day, which was her final appearance on the program.

Though her social media participation is at a standstill, Teigen was spotted out in public before this week for the first time because her behaviour on social media was pushed into the spotlight. The"Cravings" cookbook author was seen smiling and laughing while on a FaceTime telephone. The exclusive photos got by Page Six series Teigen leaving a business meeting and walking back to her car alone with her phone in hand. In some pictures, Teigen is wearing a cheetah print mask to protect her mouth and nose.
