San Jeronimo Monastery 12:30 p.m.

ALCHEMIc MUSIC and Lina Tur Bonet, violin, conclude today's concert with the complete Biber Rosary Sonatas. Bohemian in origin but closely linked to Salzburg's archiepiscopal courts since 1670, Biber has been the most prominent exponent of the stylus phantasticus. This is what the evolution of writing for violin was all about. He is best known for his Rosary Sonatas. The cycle, which was created on an unknown date, consists of 15 sonatas for violin or basso continuo that each address a mystery about the Rosary. A final Passacaglia is for solo violin, and represents the guardian angel. Each sonata offers a new world for experimentation, fantasy, and emotional impact. Pasiegas Square at 9:30 p.m.

The Plaza de las Pasiegas will host Vengo de calle at 9:30 pm. This is an adaptation of the show I COME! This tribute to folklore takes as its inspiration the famous lyrics of La Molinera (a classic Castilian oral tradition), and is viewed from a contemporary perspective. Tradition and present are combined to create a rereading our hallmarks. This piece was also performed in theater and won the Max Award 2020 for best choreography. Ten dancers took part in the show, with Sara Cano providing choreography and direction.

King's Sands. Lorca Square. 9:30 p.m.

> presents Son of cante in Arenas del Rey. This show is dedicated to Antonio Gomez (El Colorao>>). Cantes that are based on his career will be performed. They will be included in the various albums that the singer recorded throughout his lifetime, both his original compositions and classical. He accompanies him on guitar Jose Fermin Fernandez Fernandez. Arenas del Rey, Plaza Garcia Lorca, 9:30 p.m.

Palace of Carlos V. 10:30 pm.

The second performance by the London Symphony Orchestra under Gardiner, with the participation of Maria Joao Pires (respected Portuguese pianist), closes the Palace Concert cycle and the 71st edition Granada Festival. The program also includes incidental music for Rosamunda. This is Schubert's finest orchestral piece, filled with pleasant melodies and showing his warmth and good humor through a masterful use orchestral devices. Maria Joao Pires will be next delighting the Palacio de Carlos V audience with the final of 27 Mozart piano concertos. It is simple and straightforward, but it has a melancholy tone. The work has the ability to be intimate and discreet, almost as if it were wrapped over its own calm maturity. Tchaikovsky’s Second Symphony closes the program. He even stated that he thought this piece was his best work, in terms formal perfection, when composing it in 1872. He felt the need to revisit it seven years later and admitted to having found parts that were "extremely lacking". In its final version, we are able to see a lively and warm work that will not leave anyone indifferent in this last concert of the 71st Granada Festival.
