Wild birthday gift: Buy luxury villa for the 15.4 million

Earlier this month it emerged that the Ilse Jacobsen and her husband, Jesper Bo Jacobsen, had put their Hornbæk-villa for sale after 16 years.

When the pair got the home sold, they shall nevertheless not far away with all their belongings. In fact, they should just move less than 100 metres away, where they have purchased a new home.

Ilse Jacobsen confirms huskøbet in an email to Ekstra Bladet, where she welcomes the acquisition.

'It was honestly a fantastic and almost unreal experience, when I first stuck the key in the lock and opened the hovedøren. I have since I was very young dreamed of living in the house, and although there went a number of years, so it's good to put some goals also in the long term,' she writes.

She tells HERE&NOW that she fell in love with the house as a child, when she saw it, while she delivered the owner's wallet back, after he had lost it.

There was a while, and then the phone rang one day. It was Charles.

'He had received my letter, but had to just say that he was happy for the house and also had a son, so there would be enough to go around. 35 years before I would be able to take it, and if I would wait on it?'

'And I would. So now, this was my birthday present last Friday, when I was 60 years old,' writes Ilse Jacobsen.

According to the land register, the couple has given 15.450.000 dollars for the house with eight rooms and a 468 square meters big because they took 1. august.

There is thus something of a birthday present in the form of the house is 220 square meters and from 1900.

'of course, It is important that the house is in my beloved Hornbæk. The location provides a unique light in the morning, and so is the sunset extremely beautiful.
