Ilse Jacobsen confirms huskøbet in an email to Ekstra Bladet, where she welcomes the acquisition.
'It was honestly a fantastic and almost unreal experience, when I first stuck the key in the lock and opened the hovedøren. I have since I was very young dreamed of living in the house, and although there went a number of years, so it's good to put some goals also in the long term,' she writes.
She tells HERE&NOW that she fell in love with the house as a child, when she saw it, while she delivered the owner's wallet back, after he had lost it.
the House forgot she never, and for about 40 years ago, she sent a letter to the owner, which she calls 'Charles from Las Vegas'.
'the Letter, I had really concentrated me on and written neatly with a fountain pen. The letter stated that, if one day I got my own company, or won the lotto, so he would not sell the house, before he contacted me first, since I was so in love with his house and the beautiful view directly to the beach,' she writes to Ekstra Bladet.

There was a while, and then the phone rang one day. It was Charles.
'He had received my letter, but had to just say that he was happy for the house and also had a son, so there would be enough to go around. 35 years before I would be able to take it, and if I would wait on it?'
'And I would. So now, this was my birthday present last Friday, when I was 60 years old,' writes Ilse Jacobsen.
