We all want a nice house to live, why would we work in an ugly office?
Career To international example opened Fosbury & Sons 2 years ago a first job in Antwerp, where entrepreneurs, digital nomads, and larger companies come together in an inspiring environment on a new way to work. In november it opened a branch at the edge of the sonian forest, later this year to follow ‘serviced offices’ to Brussels-North and in Groot-Bijgaarden. Why this success and what is that new way of working correct?

With Fosbury & Sons introduced to Stijn Geeraets and Maarten Van Gool, in 2016, a new way of working in our country. No boring and dull office like we in Belgium used to be a professional workplace with the homely warmth of your living room, the services and the looks of a boutique hotel and the relaxation of your free time. “We find it all important that we have a nice house to live and we stop like time and money in. Why work in an ugly office, while you are there at least 38 hours per week here?” says Tom Wynendaele, responsible for the sales & customer relations at Fosbury & Sons to us.

abroad do you already have similar concepts, such as Neuehouse in New York, and Soho House in Amsterdam and Barcelona. In Belgium it was not yet. The success of F&S Antwerp and the new branch in Brussels to prove in any case that also here a lot of people are ready for this way of working. Also the name Fosbury & Sons refers not to, tells Wynendaele. Dick Fosbury is a former high jumper who was the first to use a technique made popular in which the athlete backward over the bar jumps. Different than the others, but very effective. Exactly what is also the intention of Fosbury & Sons.

That so-called new way of working, they want to outside the walls of Fosbury & Sons introducing. “Ultimately, we want a point of reference for other companies who are not coworkplek want but a want to create a place where their employees love to come to work. Therefore, we do also consulting to companies that are their building to the organization. So the mindset of how an office environment should look like to change in Belgium,” explained Wynendaele.
