The ‘Imagineers’, the team of engineers that is specifically for Disney the latest technology invents, developed a green hue which is ‘ugly’ part of the scenery in the background does go up.
Go but after: garbage cans, fences, canopies, umbrellas, entrance, staff rooms, specific buildings, roofs and even the clothing of employees who have no prominent role in the park to fulfill... all those things are green. That explained Imagineer Gavin Doyle, recently in an interview with The Insider. “The purpose of color is to make objects ‘disappear’, or at least not in the view to do the jump. The color is developed in such a way that they are in the color spectrum of the park to go there, so they totally don't notice. It is a trick that we lash out with your brain.”
according to him, a ‘grey-green with a hint of blue "that the Imagineers already grappend ‘go away green' have been baptized. That alliteration works in Dutch as well as ‘go away green’. The color is not only in all the disney parks, but also on their cruise ships, attractions and hotels.
“Note, it's not going to be one of the exact same shade of green”, sounds the explanation. “It depends on the environment. There are many trees in the neighborhood, then it will be green then seem. If not, then we apply the color. I know, it seems too simple to be true,” laughs Doyle. “But it works indeed.”
