Superior semicircular canal dehiscence (SSCD) is called the disease, and there is even not an official Dutch name for. It is caused by an opening in the bone that the upper semicircular canal of the vestibular system are covered. Patients often suffer from balance disorders and can hear what their body is playing.

The woman received the diagnosis in 2015, as most of the patients when they are in their forties. They had the condition endure while she was pregnant with her youngest daughter and now her children grow up. And that is not easy. “The girls play a lot and then there is sometimes called – that children now once – but that is very painful for me,” she says in the British media. “Bethany understands the meanwhile, and sometimes says to other kids that they are not allowed to scream, because her mama that don't like it.
