Partners Christophe and Tasha car both got their chance in ‘The Voice’: Participate as duo? That risk we didn't take

TV A first for 'The Voice' tonight: for the first time, a torque part in the talent show on VTM. Still, they do their 'blind audition' as a duo. "Whatever happens, we will always support," say Christophe (28) and Tasha (24).

love is in the air in 'The Voice van Vlaanderen'. Participants Christophe and Tasha are already two years a couple and will become even arranged together. "But on 'The Voice' do we separate them," says Tasha. "We were allowed us as a duo to register though, but that is a risk that wild, I'd rather not take."

How do you mean? Had you afraid to fight to get them, then?

Tasha: "no, no, No. But the selections fell in the middle of my exams. I'm in my fourth year of Medicine, so there was always something to intervene. I wanted to not be a spoilsport. I'm rather happen to be in this adventure rolled, while for Christophe really his dream is to make it in the music business."

Is that so, Christophe?

Christophe: (nods) "I've long been involved with music. I play in two bands, was already selected for The 'new generation' of Studio Brussels and have a private EP made. I came once during Suikerrock. So I came on the radar of the creators of 'The Voice' and I got the question to me in writing. Occasionally I sing with Tasha and YouTube to circulate there videos of us. So also got Tasha the question is to audition."

Tasha: "Christophe was so sure that I no would say, that I have just the reverse reaction, and said: 'Yes, I want to do.' And suddenly we were together on that audition. First I did not by that it is immediately real."

But you were both selected for the 'blind auditions'. This way, you become competitors of each other.

Christophe: "But that does not cause tension, you know. We give each other in this adventure and support each other through thick and thin."

Tasha: "of Course we have already often talked about it. We realize all too well that there is only one of us 'The Voice' can win, we were already in the final kick. We sing a very different genre and therefore are not in each other's waters. Otherwise, it would be perhaps stitches, if one further get than the other."

And perhaps beckons after that, yet the big music career?

Christophe: "I'd really love it. I'm studying soon as a computer scientist, but music is my real passion. Tasha made me realize that I was hard for it to work. She has me shaken up and I am her grateful for."

Tasha: "For me, is that music career is less important. I get red on stage and am very insecure about my singing skills. Christophe says that I am a good singer am, but he is not a reference, because he finds almost everything I do well. (laughs) I enjoy it now, however, to occasionally with him on the wedding parties to act. But to be a doctor is my real goal."

Music also played already a role in your first meeting, isn't it?

Tasha: (nods) "Christophe gave earlier guitar lessons to my sister. I found him personable and likeable, but we had each a relationship, and I never thought that we ever a couple would be. It was certainly not love at first sight."

Christophe: "I was still not much. (laughs) Her sister also had a lot about Tasha told."

Two years ago, were you still a couple.

Tasha: "Yes, one day asked Christophe me to agree to sing with his band. My mother thought like me that he was looking for a singer. Later it turned out that he has other intentions."

How did the coaches at the fact that you are a couple?

Tasha: "The response was good. We have also not really played out, eh. We are not the sappy couple the whole time together. Christophe is more affectionate, but at such moments he holds himself to that."
