The victory of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and ‘Green Book’ was for me a real surprise. I found the film about Freddie Mercury personally, it is the best picture of the year, but I had expected that ‘A Star Is Born’ and ‘Vice’ (with Christian Bale as Dick Cheney) is much more prices would win. And also the prize for ‘best director’ for ‘Roma’ had I not seen it coming. I'm curious how that Oscarnominaties later this month will affect. But now I dare to predict that the ‘Roma’ will win in all categories in which he will be nominated.
I also found the Globes this year, a remarkably brave and quiet affair. It is the first time in five years that everything is so calm smoothly, both during the award show as the afterparty's. Normally, drinking a lot of stars are a piece in their collar and you will see guaranteed drunk people rondstommelen, but this year everyone is neatly retained.
Vestimentaire problemsAt the stars if it is then what is more boring than previous years, I myself can speak of a successful evening. As a member of the HFPA may I have three guests to the ceremony, and this year my three best friends from Belgium flown. We have us huddling together prepared and after the show all of the important after-removed: that of Fox, Warner Bros., Netflix and HBO. Happy are all located in the same hotel – the Beverly Hills Hotel, where the ceremony also took place – so you can easily get from one to the other party walk away.
I also got a lot of compliments on my dress, something I was very happy to have ben, for I have that in place on Asos ordered. I would actually dress wearing Carmen Volc, the fashion label of the Flemish designer Bianca Samyn. She has, for me, a beautiful creation made, which unfortunately was stopped at the customs in Kentucky. They refuse to allow the dress to release the issues around the cost of imports – the dress has a value of $ 3,000 – resolved. The garment had last Thursday entitled, but is in the meantime still not arrived. A pity, but oh well, then I know already what I need to attract at the Oscars.
