Koen Wauters returns with his family back to 1979: Finally, really time for each other, in the past that was so

TV "I have no more time to lose and wants the years that made me only spend on things that makes me happy", says Koen Wauters (51), which initially did not jump to take part in the VTM program 'Greetings from'. In 1979, was Koen Wauters twelve, as old as his son Nono now. But it was also the year in which his wife, Valerie De Booser (39) was born. But that could the 12-year-old Koen Wauters don't care. As the youngest in a family of six children, he slipped as zondagskind through life, preferably for talk. "I remember a lot from that time because that was the first year that we moved from a rijhuisje, that really was too small for eight people, to a building", says Koen Wauters, who grew up in Sint-Genesius-Rode. They found it even amusing. A whole weekend had Zita and Nono of their mom and dad alone, and we were really working together on. "We cooked, games played and I have the kids learn to drive in a Renault R4. We also played games such as 'Pong'. That's nothing in comparison with 'Fortnite', but Zita and Nono have yet amused. They have especially enjoyed the get-together, I think. We had finally time for each other. That was the past really so. Also the clothes and driving, they found fun. We have the weekend ended in the bumper cars, something we used to be with the family Wauters really like to do."

It were also the children who Wauters on the line went to participate in the program. "It was not the first time that I have for this program is asked, but the previous times it did not seem possible by our busy schedules. The conclusion that I have drawn after that weekend in 'Greetings from' is simple, but oh-so-sincere: such moments we should more often stop, and then I just put my calendar block. And not only Koen is struggling with a busy schedule, Zita is when the youth is already more popular than her father and also Nono is emerging gradually to a host.
