Golden Bear for Israeli drama ‘Synonymes’ in Berlin
Film The film ‘Synonymes’, by the Israeli director Nadav Lapid, has the Golden Bear win at the Berlin film festival. That is the prize for the best film.

Lapid (1975) recounts in his partly autobiographical film is the story of a man who to Paris, moves in the hope of his true identity, to find and start a new life. He needed the help of a dictionary. The film is a French-Israeli co-production.

On the 69th edition of the film festival, the Berlinale, did four hundred films. The festival ranks with Cannes and Venice among the most important of the world.
