For the pancakes:
3 eggs
200 ml milk
120 g self-raising flour, sifted
pinch of salt
knob of butter
For decoration:
200 g dark chocolate
50 ml of water
50 g sugar
To the faces: fresh fruits such as blue berries, raspberries, and banana
For the pancakes:
1. Separate the eggs and whisk the egg white into peaks.
2. Mix with a whisk the egg yolks with the milk.
3. Add the sifted flour and a good snuf salt and mix until a homogeneous batter.
4. Mix gently the beaten egg white under the batter.
5. Melt a knob of butter in a hot pan and form small pancakes. Turn up the heat is not too hard. Leave about a 2 minute bake, or until the surface is dry, and turn the pancakes. Bake for another 40 to 60 seconds continued. Keep warm and fry the remaining dough in the same way.
For decoration:
1. Heat the water and sugar in a steelpannetje.
2. Break the chocolate into pieces and add, once the sugar is dissolved, the chocolate to the pan. Mix well until you have a homogeneous sauce.
3. Put the chocolate sauce in a squeeze bottle.
4. Decorate the pancakes with fresh cut fruit and chocolate sauce.
