Beha-the brothers set a new Danish record

Now Beha-the brothers Theis and Emil Midé Erichsen from the TV2 programme 'Heading for distant shores' call themselves record breakers.

They have just sailed around Denmark on 70 hours and six minutes. The brothers beat the old record by almost ten hours.

- Well, right now I'm just overwhelmed to have been a part of an amazing experience. We have been allowed to get a glimpse into a world which otherwise is not something that we understand us very little, Theis and I. We have been allowed to sail with some of the best sailors in the world on a trip around Denmark. It has been absolutely crazy, " says Emil Midé Erichsen for TV2.

They beat the old record of three days and eight hours, but already before the start had the brethren a dream to become new rekordsættere.

- We hope to be able to go the route of two and a half to three hours. As the weather seems now, we would have a good chance to beat the old record, said the 30-year-old Emil Midé Erichsen to TV2 Sport.
