Bari, great anticipation for the return of Mika with the Revelation tour. And from the 4th of October there is the new album

The countdown has already started, and to give the time we have thought, during the summer, five new songs: Mika is back, his new album - the fifth - is available from 4 October in the cd, streaming and download. It's called "My name is Michael Holbrook" and seems to be an awareness, exposure, and ultimately to the public of his identity: "I concentrated on the idea of becoming an adult without losing the humanity, the warmth, the sense of color and eccentricity", says the artist, who starts from his name of baptism to put everything in place.

Always the sign of music, without forgetting those humble beginnings 12 years ago, when it exploded all over the world with the success of "Grace Kelly". And the new album is a new tour, "Revelation": impressive, will start from London on 10 November to arrive in Italy from 24.

Will stop in 12 cities, Bari will be on 7 February 2020 at Palaflorio, and then move to the United States, Canada, South America, Japan, China and Korea from the spring. "Even the title of the tour connects to my search path and identity," explains Mika - and indeed quite a revelation, that I have undertaken in this new artistic adventure. I am preparing a show full of surprises, strong of the experience and of the baggage acquired with my tv shows, but returning to the music at the centre of everything".

The numbers are on his side: with its disks Mika has collected certifications gold and platinum awards in 32 Countries worldwide, and over 10 million records sold. The television career is evidence of his talent - Tonight at home Mika, X Factor Italy and The Voice France - but now, for him, it's time to get naked: "Some artists get to grips with an alter-ego of the artistic, from the great David Bowie with Ziggy Stardust, to Beyoncé, Sasha Fierce. I did the opposite, I went to discover the man behind the artist. Divided by 12 years between Mika and Michael Holbrook, I made peace with my identity. Because the only way I know of to live and to express themselves is to create music, write, perform. Without this, I do not exist".

While the radio multiply the ratings of the five individuals of the summer - "Ice cream", "Tiny love", "san remo," "Dear jealousy" and the more recent "Tomorrow" - Puglia does not see the hour to find him, after the performance of the explosive at the Petruzzelli theatre (at the invitation of the lotto games, in 2016) and the next summer concert in Molfetta.
