BMW gets criticism for the new design: Looks like kanintænder

In recent years, BMW designs have been characterized by fronts with large so-called 'kidneys' in the frontgrillen. Now, BMW has presented the design of the new 4-series coupe, and some believe that BMW now has gone too far with the appearance on the kidneys.

On the Danish bilmedie Car Magazine facebook page has spread with the news of Bmw's new coupé received many users to the keys.

the Car Magazine have even in their article described the BMW-designed by noting that the kidneys 'looks like kanintænder,' and more of the users agree.

'I used to love everything about the BMW, I do not longer unfortunately. It seems as if they have been completely by - maintained cars running like a dream (most of them), and I have since had a BMW, but with the design of the academy, they are running pt, I'm out to the store now,' writes one user.

'too bad when they now have made an effort and made as veldrejet a car, that they have listened to criticism and limited the silly grill,' writes another.

'the Kidneys' is unbearably uelegante,' reads the hard judgment of a user.

Not everyone is the view, however, that the BMW-kidneys take up too much space.

BMW calls it " the new 4-series coupe for a 'genuine køremaskine,' and to live up to the words, the model is made longer and wider than its predecessor.

so far, being topudgaven a BMW M440i xDrive Coupe, which comes with a six-cylinder line engine coupled to a mild hybrid system. The total number of hp is 374.

at the Outset comes the model in four different versions. On benzinsiden comes in two versions with a four-cylinder engine with either 184 hp in the 420i Coupé and 258 hp in the 430i Coupe, while M440i xDrive Coupe, as mentioned, has a rækkesekser with 374 hp.

Will you run diesel, you can opt for a BMW 420d Coupé with 190 hp.

the Default is sports seats and a redesigned sportslæderrat, while acoustic glass should optimise the comfort on the long drives. All variants will be equipped with 8-speed automatic transmission as standard

In 2021 follows several engine variants, including the fuldelektriske the BMW i4.
