Astrid Coppens is showing the new collection and babybuikje: Our little girl is due for the 4th of July'. Amerikaanser couldn't

Showbiz Astrid Coppens (36) has her latest collection with clothing retailer ZEB suggested. She did that with a ball belly, because the Hollywoodvrouw is pregnant with her first child, a daughter. "Fortunately, I have loose pieces in the collection, inserted", she laughs.

"I don't know if I'm the most successful BV-designer am, but ZEB, I am the one who has the longest getting started," said Astrid. "Meanwhile, this is already my twelfth collection, but I think it is still a challenge." And there is clearly no wear on the design talent of Astrid. "I find that the demand for my collection continues to rise. I'm not just the face, I am also really involved, because I think after about the materials, the snits and the prints. That is why I also like to be in Belgium for the launch. Meanwhile, I am also already on the winter collection started. Crazy, because this summer is only just. (laughs)"

Although the line Astrid Black Label is called, there is a remarkable amount of color in Astrids latest collection. "That was last summer decided. I was then in July and August in Belgium and it was here so hot, that I didn't want to be all the time black to wear. So I can only hope that the coming summer as well as beautiful. Fortunately, I then decided to also looser pieces in the collection, because that's when I knew, of course, not that I am pregnant. (laughs) So can I a lot of items from the collection to wear to my birth. At the photo shoot in January fit all the pieces yet. All I have when some return to a larger size to grab for a pair of pants. Now, not that I mind. It is not a zwangerschapscollectie, hey. And Bram asked me well at ease. I actually have no problem with that my body is now changing, that is simply how nature works. I find it very nice to have that all to see, and I feel tremendously feminine. And Bram complains, so that is fine. Now yes, I am also very well-behaved, though. I snauw him, certainly not because I am pregnant. That I would never dare. (winks)"

And while many women suffer from typical common pregnancy problems, turns out Astrid there as well of been spared. "In the beginning, I was tired, but I now have no more problems. And I've also, for example, no swollen feet. Therefore, I have tonight heels attracted. I do not even have reservepaar. It needs to be able to a whole evening stylish. (laughs)"

Small fashionista

With a mom that is as fashion does, it would of course be fine if her daughter is a fashionista. "And if they are interested, then I will make sure that they will get," laughs Astrid. "Now it is just counting down to the birth. Our little girl is due for the 4th of July. The Fourth of July, so (the national holiday in the U.S., ed.). Amerikaanser couldn't. When our daughter was effectively born, Bram and I decided something special should come up to that in the paint.”
