‘Pulp Fiction’ did very well in Cannes. Tarantino won the Golden Palm, and this would only be of benefit to him. Now, exactly 25 years later, would his latest film, ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ also premiered. It is the first film of Tarantino in ‘The Hateful Eight’ to 2015 and plays at the end of the sixties. Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie play the lead roles. DiCaprio plays a former tv star Cliff Booth, who was known, mostly of westerns, and his stuntman Rick Dalton (a role for Brad Pitt), who try to find their way in a city (Los Angeles) and an industry that they barely recognize. Margot Robbie plays actress Sharon Tate.
“I have five years on this script worked”, said Tarantino about the movie. “In addition, I live almost all my life in Los Angeles County, also in 1969 when I was seven years old. I'm very happy that I the story can tell of a L. A. and a Hollywood that no longer exist. And I couldn't be happier with the dynamic duo of DiCaprio and Pitt as Rick and Cliff.”
