40.000 for this Year's concert in jeopardy

Up to 40,000 fans of The Minds of 99 has been waiting a long time. And they are still waiting.

They continued not, whether they should experience the band in the Park on a month.

this Year's largest single koncertbegivenhed in Denmark is still scheduled to take place on a nicely filled stadium Saturday 12. september, but coronakrisen threatening, of course, the implementation of the event.

Director of the organizer Live Nation, Jesper Christensen, however, has apparently not given up hope.

In a short message to the Extra Magazine he says:

- We are waiting anxiously on the outcome of the negotiations, as the parties in the folketing are in right now.

It is perhaps not entirely inconceivable that the concert can be carried out under moderated conditions, after the minister of culture, Joy Mogensen (S) earlier in the day laid up to the negotiations on the genåbningens phase four with the following statement to the news agency Ritzau:

- the Government is busy also to get musicians and artists of the time as much as possible. Therefore, the government, of course, on the venues and institutions of culture in a different way than the nightlife.

It has not been possible to get a comment from The Minds of 99.

The copenhagen-based quintet is only the second Danish band, who - perhaps - act as a headliner in the Park. The group's concert would reportedly have been sold out with 48.000 fans, if not coronavirusen had slowed ticket sales.

In the autumn was The Minds of 99 at a sold-out indendørsturné, culminating in the Royal Arena in copenhagen.
