According to the latest report, this earthquake, the deadliest in the kingdom in more than sixty years, has killed nearly 2,900 people since Friday evening. It devastated entire villages of earth or clay houses in a mountainous area of the High Atlas, where landslides still made access to the affected villages difficult.
