Railway Recruitment Board conducts RRB Group D Exam to recruit eligible candidates for various level 1 posts in Indian Railways. RRB Group D is a golden opportunity for anyone who wishes to join the reputed Indian Railways sector. Application Form
Eligible and Interested Candidates should fill the application form online on the official website. They are required to pay the application fee online before the last date to submit the application form successfully. The application fee for the General/OBC category is Rs 500 whereas for SC/ST/Female/EBC/Ex-Servicemen/PWBD is Rs 250.
Admit Card
The admit card is a mandatory document to be carried by the registered candidates to appear for the exam. Without submitting the application form, no candidates will be eligible to download the admit card. The admit card will be available online on the official portal a few weeks before the CBT date.
Computer Based Test
Only the registered candidates who carry an Admit Card will be permitted to appear for the exam. Computer Based Test consists of a total of 100 objective type questions that need to be attempted within 90 minutes. There will be a deduction of ⅓ marks for wrong answers. Candidates have to qualify in the CBT round to be eligible for further rounds of the selection process.
Physical Efficiency Test
After the candidates qualify in the Computer Based Test, they will be called to appear for the PET. In this round, the selected candidates need to run the race and lift and carry the weight within the stipulated time of the test for male and female applicants separately.
Declaration of the Result
The RRB D Group D Result will be released online on the official website of the respective RRB regions. The name of the selected candidates will be displayed in the result in PDF format.
Document Verification
The shortlisted candidates are called for the document verification process based on their performance in CBT and PET rounds. Thus, it is important for the candidates to carry all the required documents for a smooth procedure. If they fail to carry the required documents or fake the document, then it may directly lead to the cancellation of their candidature.
Medical Examination
After the completion of the document verification process, the selected candidates are required to undergo the medical exam to be considered for the final selection of the post.
