Launched last year by the media Yard and Booska P, the ceremony dedicated to French rap actors, Les Flammes, will be back on April 25, 2024. This evening which rewards the greatest artists of the genre was designed to highlight snobbery major French musical ceremonies. Last year, all the elite of French-speaking hip-hop (and other distinguished guests) gathered under the roof of the Théâtre du Chatelet to attend the first awards ceremony in the history of this culture , which nevertheless dominates music sales in France.

Rappers, producers, directors and even journalists will meet in April to celebrate a new year full of rap releases. The announcement was made on social networks, where the organizers shared a short video of the Théâtre du Chatelet, which will host the ceremony again next year. The 2023 edition crowned Aya Nakamura and Gazo respectively female and male artist of the year and was marked by the domination of Tiakola and Josman, who each won three awards.
The first edition was rather a logistical success, with astonishing live performances and an evening which went off without a hitch even if the public regretted that the ceremony was not accessible to fans. It remains to be seen whether the organizers will have taken these criticisms into account...Answer in spring 2024.
