That's how emphatic the character that Tom Cruise embodies in the successful sequel to 'Top Gun' is shown when he addresses his superior, something similar to what happens to the great sports bikes and their sisters the great 'sportourer' like this Ninja H2 SX in its special version (SE) of Kawasaki, which offer a way to travel and enjoy the road that is difficult to replace with another type of mount.

The engine on which this H2 generation pivots is, no less, a supercharged four-cylinder that delivers about 200 hp at 11,000 rpm, but so solvent that it seems to hide 50 more hp. Its delivery to the fist of just over 137 Nm in the 8,500 laps really smooth and progressive and more than generous dimensions but without exaggeration -1,480 mm between axles, seat at 835 mm and 2,175 mm in total length-, makes this Ninja H2 SX SE is the roadster with capital letters on the market, the queen of a segment that resists the onslaught of the Euronorms on emissions and noise and generational changes... This safety pack models a ride that already offered great sensations: electronic Showa suspension with Skyhook technology (SE versions), cornering management function, multi-level traction, launch and engine brake controls (yes, you can decide on what extent does it), the very different driving modes or the semi-automatic transmission. The Ninja H2 SX SE is a full-fledged sports car... but one that can be traveled with.

This Ninja likes to accelerate decisively, but without abruptness, to run, to roll many kilometers... and the curves, which she interprets with the poise that a well-worked chassis by Kawasaki gives her. The Ninja H2 SX SE invites you to have fun, to drive joyfully but always in control, to be attentive but not tense. No scares, but forceful at the controls, the position is comfortable because the bike is large, with a seat that, although it has room for improvement in terms of its hardness (a very personal issue), its size is so generous that contact with the co-pilot is always nice, it is not necessary to look for the place because there is plenty of room on the motorcycle for both of us. It takes the curves serenely, with the poise that its dimensions, its front suspension, and its centered weight give it. Some curves that, unless they are very closed, makes knocking down with her, many times, little less than unnecessary.

But will the passenger think the same? "When you put it in the corner, I'm already in the corner with you", impossible to improve the appreciation of my wife, my best co-driver, about the rigidity of her chassis. The touch and the ease of dosing the accelerator is simply perfect, more than compensating for that slight oversteer that it has when entering the turn and understeer when leaving, something normal with its dimensions.
