“I wanted to thank everyone who sent me messages of support. Thank you so much, I didn't know I had so many friends." Shirtless on what we guess is a hospital bed, Mathieu Kassovitz spoke publicly for the first time since his accident.
The actor fell on a motorcycle on Sunday, while doing an internship at the Montlhéry circuit, in Essonne. He wanted to reassure about his state of health. “I fell off my motorcycle, stupid. I broke my femur and ankle, I am in rehabilitation, I am coming out of the operation, ”he reveals.
This drop comes at the same time as the release of Visions, Yann Gozlan's latest film (Black Box), in theaters. "It's stupid, tonight there's Visions coming out at the cinema and I won't be able to go," the actor said. "I hope you can go," he concluded. The thriller features a trio of actors made up of Marta Nieto, Mathieu Kassovitz and Diane Kruger.
The latter supported him in a message: “My friend….we've only been talking about you for two days. Two days of anguish. I see you all over the street on our movie poster. The day before the release, I am moved. Moved to know that you're going to get out of this, even if it's going to be long and painful….I'm happy that people who are going to see our film tomorrow (well I hope), can see you laughing and being mischievous how I enjoyed working with you so much. Courage and see you soon,” she wrote on Instagram.
