Things are ramping up for the Dune 2 movie. A first trailer was released during CinemaCon 2023 in Las Vegas and Vanity Fair has released the first photos from the movie. We see Léa Seydoux, who plays Lady Margot, as well as Austin Butler who plays Feyd-Rautha. Actress Florence Pugh slips into the skin of Princess Irulan.
Adapted from the science fiction novel by Franck Herbert, the film is a "continuity with the first part," director Denis Villeneuve told Vanity Fair. “I wanted the film to open where we left the people. There is no time jump. The director promises "an epic war action movie", while placing the love story between the main characters at the heart of the plot. "I kept saying to my team, 'The most important thing is that spark, that relationship between these two characters.' If we don't capture that, there's no film. The epicenter of the story is this relationship. »
Dune 2 hits theaters on November 1.
