According to Ministry of Inclusion data, Social Security paid 21,368.3 millions euros for the June payment. The ordinary pension pay of 10,832.2 million euros was paid, which is 4.7% more than the same month in 2021. Another 10,536.1 million were used to supplement the income from the extra pay.

Social Security already revealed how to calculate the additional pay. According to Jose Luis Escriva, the department responsible for the statistics, Spain's sixth-month pension spending was 11.8% of GDP. This is a lower figure than 2020 (12.4% GDP), which was influenced by the effects of the pandemic. It also represents a lower proportion than 2021 (12.1% GDP).

In May 2022, there were 1,376.2 euros per monthly in new retirement registrations. The average widow's monthly pension is 778.7 euro per month.

The average Spanish pension, which includes all types of pensions (retirement or permanent disability, widowhood, widowhood, orphanhood, and in favour of relatives), is 1,090.2 euros per monthly in June. This represents an increase in 5.5% over the previous year.

The 6.1 million retired people who receive 1,254.7 euros in their payroll are able to reap the greatest benefits. Around nine million Spanish pensioners have received 2,150 euros. The average pensioner in Spain has received 1,062 euros this year, an increase of 5.8% on the previous year. The 1,090 euros they receive as an average pension are also added to the total, so that the majority of contributory pension beneficiaries have received 2,152 euros.
