In total, 15 of the 19 panelists included by Funcas have worsened their estimates. This has caused a reduction of five tenths in the growth forecast for the Spanish economy for this year, to 4.3%.

Funcas explained that the review by analysts has been motivated by "a GDP growth lower than expected in the first quarter, the weakness shown by the few indicators available so far for the second quarter and the expectations
