Alhambra Venture 2022: The most international edition for local talent

This is the most important event in the South of Spain's entrepreneurial ecosystem. The ninth edition of Alhambra Venture will be held at the Granada Conference Center on July 12-13. It is promoted by IDEAL and aims to reconnect talent and create synergies among the major players in the sector.

The 25 finalist startups have passed the Academy and are now ready to pitch their ideas in front of investors. The goal is to get financing to relaunch and expand their projects. They will also compete for a cash prize worth 3,000 euros as the 'Most Innovative Startup'.

Although 13 provinces were chosen, more than half are Andalusian. However, there is representation from other provinces like Murcia, Tenerife or Madrid.

Alhambra Venture 2022 will be focusing on one thing. It is the number of successful startups who return to mentor the new finalists. Here are some highlights of the amazing journey and successes from the previous eight editions.

Alhambra Venture offers two programs: a main one and an alternate one that includes B2B meetings and workshops, as well as networking opportunities.

Granada will once again be the hub of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. After the limitations of the pandemic, attendees will once again be able face-to–face. This is a long-awaited moment. Alhambra Venture is back at 100% with a new program that includes workshops and activities for businesses.

All talks, roundtables and pitches will be streamed live on its own platform.

Two programs will be presented simultaneously over the course of the two-day event: the main and the alternate. The Palacio de Congresos auditorium will host the first. The alternative is in secondary rooms or enabled spaces, where workshops and networking activities can be combined. All this Tuesday 12: B2B meetings, mentoring sessions, and speed networking. More than 100 startups submitted their candidacy for this edition. However, only 25 of them have been selected as finalists.

The jury will award a cash prize worth 3,000 euros to the "Best Valued Startup". This is a tradition. The jury will choose from the 25 finalists. Investors will also be able to choose the award for the "Most Investable Startup" in 2022 through a survey.

Alhambra Venture 2022 will also give sector prizes to the best startup that uses and optimizes Water.
