the President of The world Bank, Jim Yong Kim, has announced his resignation. Kim will be in Post 1. February, informed the world Bank on Monday. It's been his "great honor", of the Institution to preside over more than six years, quoting the world Bank, the outgoing President. Kim was only on 1. July 2017 commenced his second term in office, which was supposed to last until 2022, the middle of it. Reasons for the step were not initially called.
Kim wants to continue to work for a company that cares about investments in developing countries - which, however, remained unclear. According to Kim's resignation, first of all, the managing Director of the world Bank, Kristalina Georgieva, on a transitional basis, to assume the presidential post.
