Valuegards Hox-index measures the underlying price developments in the housing market.
The overall index Hoxswe, which applies to privately owned housing in the whole country, fell by 0.8 per cent in december.
But there was a big difference between condominiums and villas. Bostadsrättsindex fell by 0.3 per cent - the villas with the whole of 1.1 per cent.

Valuegard also points out that december is a weak month for the housing market, and when they adjust the figures for seasonal effects rises Hoxswe by 0.6 per cent.
Valuegard have also studied the price development for condominiums in Stockholm during the first half of January, and it was unchanged compared with december. At the same time underlines the Valuegard to two-thirds of all January monthly transactions usually come in the second half of the month. Therefore, it is not wise to draw too far-reaching conclusions on the recent trends.
