An event to thumbs and finger-licking good: the organization of the first edition of ‘Mise-en-Plage’. From 21 to 23 June there is a lot of acclaimed chefs and their tastiest creations cooking on the beach of Knokke. “The region has a lot to offer – and not only a wide selection of restaurants, awarded with Michelin stars and high listings in the Gault&Millau", says organiser Pieter Derudder. “The coast and the hinterland have a very varied and typical range of local produce. Mise en Plage presents them all.”
Knokke-Heist beach, Knokke is next month in the backdrop of the first edition of ‘Mise-en-Plage’: a foodfestival on the beach. Numerous (star)chefs from the coastal city and Events there will be three days long to give the best of themselves in a luxetent of 2.000 m2 just in front of the Casino. “The new event is the ideal opener to our summer season,” says mayor Leopold Lippens (GBL).
