Angus Kennedy (54), a chocolate expert from Kent, Uk, went through Google looking for a villa with his wife Sophie (43) and their five children a week to blow on the Balearic islands. He found it through the website dreamvillasspain.com. He paid around 3,000 euros.
“Our flight from London had some delay when we arrived in Mallorca”, says Angus. “The transfer to the villa, which was included in the price, was not there. Because we were too late, I thought then. I called the contact numbers that we had received, but then I could no one reach.”
Angus, his wife Sophie and their three children, jumped in two taxis and were to their destination drive. On the spot, they called that the German owner Klaus opened the door. “We told him that we are his tenants were for the coming week. But he told us that his house is not for rent.”
“Then I showed him the website where I have the house booked. Then were pictures of the villa, the interior, the pool, ... He was stunned. We also, by the way. It was clear that we had been.”
