Coronavirus : decision-makers and the general public all anxious about the future

The days whizz by, the crisis remains and the confidence indicators are falling apart. According to the barometer Viavoice for HEC, Le Figaro and BFM Business* the morale of the decision-makers continues to decline in may. After falling by 19 points in April, going from -22 to -41, it starts to drop of two points in may, to -43 points, its lowest level since nearly seven years. It amounted to the sum of several indicators. To begin with a simple question posed to these decision makers : "do you Think that within a year, the level of life in France in the whole... ?" To this, only 14% of respondents expect a slight improvement, when 2% predict a strong improvement. On the other side of the balance, they are 73% to build on a "degradation", of which nearly half believe that it will be "clear".

The answer to this question find the answer to identical, or almost, in the panel "general public". 68% of respondents expect a deterioration of their standard of living year on year.
