After its version of emergency lighting, since the month of march and requested by more than one million companies at a cost of 13.6 million workers, are now activity long-term partial (APLD). Three weeks after the launch of the first round of concertation between unions, employers and the ministry of Labour, the president of the Republic unveiled to the social partners the major projects to be carried out on the job front: vocational training, youth employment and unemployment insurance. Secondly, the companies that will benefit from the activity long-term partial will have to maintain a level of activity for each employee 60% minimum. In other words, the working hours may not exceed 40 % of the working time of each employee. On the side of the compensation, the system will keep a level almost similar to that of the containment: employees will receive 84 % of their compensation with a ceiling of 4.5 smics and business will be reimbursed at 80 % (85 % in the case of an agreement signed before 1 October). "We would like to maintain a very high level of protection because if we do not support the enterprises in sub-sustainable activity, will lead to the destruction of massive job", argued the Elysée palace. And for good reason: under the effect of the crisis, unemployment is expected to exceed the mark of 10 % at the end of the year and the Unédic anticipates 900.000 jobs...

The companies will benefit from this device inspired by a text of the metallurgy for 6 to 24 months.
